Not the worst of Saturdays, even though it is Sunday for the rest of the world. Started off by having “boy time” with Calin. We went to Home Depot for a 12″ framing square and then spent an hour browsing. Highlight had to have been playing Go Fish with imaginary cards while seated at a patio set larger than our entire backyard.
When we got home, I started and finished installing a USB cord in my three binder phone holder. Took longer than I expected it would, but it turned out pretty good.
Then I switched gears and finished up (mostly) my table saw crosscut sled. I need to build a little guard for where the blade pops out, but other than that, it seems to do the job. I’ll finish the guard and do the five cut test tomorrow to see how far out of square it is. Getting the fence square with the blade is what I needed that small framing square for. I think it turned out well, but the five cut test will give me an actual number.
