Thinking that a small Linux server might be a handy thing to have around. I’ve moved all of my data out to Bitcasa, so having 1TB of local storage is not as necessary as it used to be. In addition to just having a nifty toy to play with, I am thinking of actually using my Arduino and lashing it to the oil burner so that I can see how often it is used. Pipe dream? Maybe, but that is what I am thinking of doing. The Arduino would pass data to the Debian Pogoplug, which would then sync this data out to my web host. I think that makes sense. I have the stuff all just sitting here doing nothing, so I might as well try to figure out a way to put it to work.
