Been one hell of a 21 months since my mother died. This is sure to leave a mark. My sister is my new hero, but this has all taken a toll on her. We got him home from the hospital with, literally, hours to go. I’ll never forget the nap that we all three of us shared in the living room the afternoon before he died. That was peace. That nap was the point of how hard Liz fought to get him home and into hospice care. I miss you, Dad.<\/p>\n
