Gear Shifter Light!!!

Yesterday, I replaced the gear shifter light. This involved removing two concealed bolts and popping some plastic tabs. I used these instructions and the job was done in maybe 20 minutes. Shedding More Light II

Started putting together a…wait for it…spreadsheet 😀 for all the different bulbs with OEM #, cost from the dealer, costs (and links) for third party vendors and discussed in forums alternatives. Started to see some trends.
The dash switches, like TRACS and the defroster, and the radio bulbs can all be replaced with bulbs that cost $0.59 each, so I ordered up ten of them.… Read the rest
