Yesterday, I replaced the gear shifter light. This involved removing two concealed bolts and popping some plastic tabs. I used these instructions and the job was done in maybe 20 minutes. If you have a child who needs to ride in a carseat, you will love Volvo. You will want to kiss the designer of the seatbelt buckle, because it has a locking clip built in. For the first month and a half, the only car either my wife or I had ever installed a carseat in was our S70, and we never understood the stigma of locking clips.

Shedding More Light II
Started putting together a…wait for it…spreadsheet 😀 for all the different bulbs with OEM #, cost from the dealer, costs (and links) for third party vendors and discussed in forums alternatives. Started to see some trends.
