More Volvo Stuff
Sick of hearing about my car yet?
I never realized how broken down it was until now!
Center console rear panel is Volvo 9164054. Need to figure out exactly what color, but that number will get me in the ball park.… Read the rest
Shedding More Light II
Started putting together a…wait for it…spreadsheet 😀 for all the different bulbs with OEM #, cost from the dealer, costs (and links) for third party vendors and discussed in forums alternatives. Started to see some trends.
The dash switches, like TRACS and the defroster, and the radio bulbs can all be replaced with bulbs that cost $0.59 each, so I ordered up ten of them.… Read the rest
Shedding More Light
Sat in the car tonight and made a list of all the lights I could see were not working.
Let there be light!

Been screwing with this for the better part of two hours. I love working from home!
But, I can’t even get the laptop to see the adapter attached to the TV, let alone connect and then stream video.
It may be that this adapter has been rendered obsolete by Intel.… Read the rest

Never did find the HOWTO on installing a third antenna to get MIMO working on the netbook. Saw one jackass attached a massive 19dB antenna to the side of his 9″ netbook.
He was severely abused for this.
And he never got around to saying if it improved anything!… Read the rest

Sept 28:
Was asked today about loading DD-WRT or Tomato on the new router. Turns out Cisco decided to turn up their middle fingers towards those projects. They screwed with the NVRAM in a way that the third party Devs cannot work around.… Read the rest
